Still here

Mon Nov 26, 2007, 9:13 AM
So, it's been a long time since I threw anything up here. This was mostly due to being lazy and not typing things up that needed it. Only two of the five poems I posted this morning are really new, the other three have been sitting on my desk for quite some time waiting for me to do something about them.

I also have two short stories written, but I haven't decided if I want to put them here or not. I haven't bothered with any prose before because all of it ends up turning into pieces of novels that I will probably never finish, but these two are definitely staying as short stories. So they're capable of going up if y'all want to read them. Let me know.

So, these four are poems that were already on my flash drive when I joined DA, along with eight others, all or most of which will be posted over the coming days, as I edit and rediscover poems I've liked for whatever reason over the last year or so. A few have been on my myspace already, (which is the same tag name as this, except replace the dashes with underscores) so they may not seem new to everyone, but they probably will.

After I get all of the old poems up, I may start writing more volume and more seriously, as well as getting a few essays and similar things up. I wonder if my horrible handwriting and odd looking penmanship counts as an abstract artform? If it does I may even doodle for you.
